The 1st Ethical Charitable Trust enables British Muslims to benefit wider society via faith-based campaigns.

When developing our campaigns, we seek to partner with leading organisations excelling in their respective fields. Consequently our Islamic Wills Campaign, which seeks to encourage Muslims to leave a bequest to charity, has partnered with the UK largest four Muslim Charities, with a combined annual turnover in the region of £150M.

When delivering our campaigns, we seek to partner with leading mosques, schools and other community based organisations which serve as hubs of local neighbourhoods. For example our Zakah Campaign Khutbahs (sermons) & Guides are delivered and distributed in hundreds of British mosques annually.

Alongside our campaigns, our team provides on-ground specialised training programmes, Curriculum Modules, and innovative lectures to Imams, Teachers and Community Workers throughout the UK, as effective ways in which we can better empower these key people in better serving their local communities, as well as passionately supporting our campaigns.

Alongside our on-ground efforts, the blog aspect of this website, along with our social networking endeavours and frequent ethnic newspaper articles/ethnic radio interviews all seek to raise awareness directly amongst Muslims about our work.

We expect the above approach will enable us to better present an orthodox narrative showcasing Islam in Britain. We pray our campaigns, support services to Imams and Teachers, website/social networks and ethnic media endeavours all act as a source of guidance to all parties wishing to find an authentic representation of one of the world’s great religions as practised in one of the world’s great countries.

In developing our services, we have sourced scholarly expertise to ensure our approach is scripturally compliant and interwoven this with other professional disciplines allowing our services to meet requisite legal, regulatory, and financial standards.

The 1st Ethical Charitable Trust is entirely funded by private donations from non-governmental individuals and entities.
